Job Description:

Our client, a well-respected and growing firm, is looking for a full-time Tax Associate with 1 to 3 years of public accounting experience to join their Laramie, Wyoming office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare, a variety of small – medium size business and individual tax returns including S-Corps, C-Corps and partnerships
• Ability to handle client tax questions, collection of information and consultation
• Assist clients with tax planning, projections, and other client deliverables
• Perform tax research to respond to tax inquiries and special projects
• Assure compliance with state and federal tax laws and regulations and respond to inquiries from federal and state tax authorities as necessary
• Provide timely, high quality services that exceed client expectations

Requirements:

• A. or B.S. in Accounting
• 1 to 3 years of tax experience in public accounting, preferably with a local or regional firm
• EA or CPA/CPA eligible preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities
• Strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other software
