Senior Tax Manager (Global Technology Distributor)

A global industry leader is seeking a Senior Tax Manager who brings expertise, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset. In this role, you’ll shape U.S. and Canadian income tax strategy, lead tax accounting and provision activities, and guide the organization through complex audit environments. What You’ll Own

  • Income tax leadership — Oversee U.S. and Canadian federal, state, provincial, and local income tax compliance and provision processes.
  • Tax research & advisory — Monitor emerging tax developments and advise senior leadership on risks, opportunities, and strategic implications.
  • Audit management — Lead multiple income tax audits across North America, ensuring timely responses and favorable outcomes.
  • Process & systems improvement — Strengthen tax policies, procedures, and technology to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cross‑functional partnership — Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to embed tax considerations into key decisions.
  • Team development — Mentor, coach, and develop tax staff to support long‑term departmental success.
  • Peak‑cycle support — Provide occasional late‑night, weekend, or holiday support during month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close cycles, as permitted by law.

Education & Experience

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.
  • Demonstrated experience leading people and processes (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
  • Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
